The Organizing Committee of the 5th Japan-Korea-China joint conference on Geography is pleased to announce to give “Young Geographer Prize” to selected participants who give excellent presentations. Please see below for the conditions of entry and standards of selection. Each participant should submit his or her application form and paper (less than 2,000 wards, figures and tables can not be included in the proceedings) to the Organizing Committee by E-mail (5thcon@geographers.asia) by 15th September 2010.

    Submitted papers will be published in the proceedings of the conference. The Organizing committees select candidates based on submitted paper and decide the award winners after their presentations. Following points are considered in the selection process.

    ・The studies with clear purpose and unique ideas.
    ・Presentations by graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who do not have many chances to acquire research funds.

    Award winners will be announced at the farewell party of conference and the prize will be given to the winners from the committee. Please download entry form from following links.
